“Blue Christmas” Holiday Service
The holidays can be a painful time for those experiencing:
* the loss of a loved one, a job, a relationship
• the anguish of financial burdens and expectations
• the stress of holiday preparations and frantic activity
• the anxiety of national and global unrest and division
• unexpected changes of all kinds…
All of these and more can make us feel “blue” in the midst of the festivities around us. ‘Īao UCC offers this special service as a gift to all who need a place of quiet reflection, gentle music, and the opportunity to light a candle in memory of a loved one or to honor whatever reality is in need of God’s amazing grace. You may know someone in your family or in the community who would like to attend. Invite them to come with you. This service is for anyone who is finding the Christmas season difficult or sad, and for those who care for them. All are welcome.
